Queenie – Macaw-Inspired Stained Glass Suncatcher

A vibrant tribute to the majestic macaws of my childhood, this handcrafted suncatcher is inspired by Queenie, a rescued parrot who left a lasting impression on my heart. Combining opaque, translucent, and artisanal glass pieces, this design brings the tropical beauty of these birds to life.

Measuring approximately 6.5” x 4.5”, it’s a radiant addition to any space, casting colorful reflections that dance with the sunlight.

Care Tips:
Your stained glass piece is crafted with traditional lead solder and finished with a protective wax. It’s safe to hang and enjoy, but try not to handle it too much—and be sure to wash your hands after placing it.

Skip the suction cups! These pieces are a bit heavy, and over time, those little guys will let go. We recommend a sturdy hook or window chain instead.

To keep your piece glowing: no harsh cleaners, please. Just wipe gently with a damp cloth when needed. If the solder ever starts to lose its shine, a little carnauba-based wax will bring it right back—just rub, let dry, and polish to a soft gleam.
